The ONS needed a dynamic, digital platform to collect time-use data from thousands of citizens and so inform the Government on how our lives are changing. Previous paper-based survey tools were cumbersome and prone to input-error.
Ensuring the online diary was a pleasure to use, provided feedback and prompts to the user whilst collecting key data points were key research points. Likewise developing a full flexible, configurable service provided long-term business case value. The flexibility was proven when the service was quickly reconfigured to provide Government with key data during Lockdown.
