Defining the Government’s implementation strategy for the EU Services Directive
Business strategy, Systems and specification design, Requirements, Change management, Content strategy
A new EU directive required strategic digital planning to determine the optimal delivery model. Our consultants interviewed over fifty individuals and organisations to determine the most effective channel. The proposed use of Business Link and making best use of existing partners and technology provided the least disruptive and most cost-effective, desired solution given the time constraints available.
What we did
Having executed a landscaping study, our digital consultants identified and interviewed key internal and external stakeholders from both puplic and corporate organisations. Strategic recommendations were developed and presented to both the steering group and identified key user groups before being refined and written up and presented.
Core to the study was a lightweight online training and engagement portal, based on thinking from Behavioural Economics, for both local and competent authorities.
The UK delivery of the PSC was delivered by Business Link through the UK Welcomes portal. This cost-efficient route ensured a timely delivery of the UK’s remit as well as a cost-efficient solution for the taxpayer.
“Panlogic delivered against the project’s objectives in a timely and professional manner. Their consultancy approach was effective in capturing a wide set of learnings, encouraging stakeholders to think from a user point of view as well as from a professional perspective. “ Assistant Director, EU Services Directive Implementation Team, BIS
