Improving child safety
The WeProtect global alliance is an international movement that sits within the Home Office, dedicated to national and global action to end the sexual exploitation of children online. A rebuild was required to bring the website within the Government Digital Standards (GDS).
To satisfy GDS web standards and pass each gate, Panlogic undertook a fully documented delivery programme covering Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live stages. Multiple streams of user research were carried out to gather user requirements and to validate synthesised findings. Development was carried out in 2 week sprints with dedicated User Acceptance Testing after each sprint. Daily stand-ups, project retrospectives and ceremonies were held throughout the project lifecycle.
Fully designed to GDS standards, with user validation at all stages, the work has delivered a vision that both meets user needs whilst meeting GDS exacting design and development standards. The test driven approach to the build reduces the the impact, time and investment for future developments. The striking visual design recognises both the professional and sensitive nature of the global WeProtect alliance.
