MKM
[ Developing CMS solutions to manage multiple front-ends ]
Requirements
MKM is a marketing company which facilitates the development and deployment of vouchers (e.g. 'buy one get one free') to service based businesses (e.g. restaurants and hotels), which are made available to the clients of larger corporations (e.g. banks) via a series of websites.
MKM engaged Panlogic to redevelop their digital information infrastructure and website strategies. In order to do this Panlogic were required to develop a data-driven system that would manage and maintain MKM's portfolio of 13,000+ vouchers. This system would then output defined groups of these vouchers to one of a number of client specific websites, also designed and developed by Panlogic.
Strategy
Panlogic's strategy was to develop the backend database and administration functions for a single client site as a prototype. This prototype was then road-tested and refined over a period of time. Once the testing phase was completed the system was expanded through the addition of additional client sites and additional backend functions, all through a single content management system.
Value
The final system has given MKM a robust and supportive digital business mechanism that can provides confidence and allows them to drive and expand their core business significantly more rapidly than before.
