Requirement

The combination of a change in organisational strategy, a non Disability and Discrimination Act compliant website and a non-supported content management system provided the FRC with an opportunity to re-consider their digital presence.

What we did

• Following a competitor review, our digital strategists ran a number of structured workshops with a wide range of stakeholder organisations. Following persona and user journey validation these were further developed into a visual and flexible prototype supported by a detailed functional specification. All outputs were then reviewed by a core user group before being refined and finalised.
• Having worked with the FRC to develop clarity on definition, Panlogic’s procurement and tendering consultants provided full tender support. The full suite of tender documentation was sent to web development companies and we then managed the bid development process from end to end.

Value

• The FRC derived considerable value from Panlogic’s initial work. The structured approach to listening to key internal and external stakeholders ensured all parties had an opportunity to give advice and be heard. The definition of requirement through the development of a prototype allowed not only stakeholders to see the value of their input, but for website build tenderers to get a clear view of the strategic requirement
• FRC personnel had had previous experience of past web projects that had been poorly defined and procured leading to significant cost overruns and delays to the project. Panlogic’s significant experience in web strategy across complex organisations and their procurement expertise provided both an improved service and the route to deliver within a shortened timescale.
