Sophie Anderton aims to be on her best behaviour while she is in the jungle and has given up swearing as part of her preparations for the adventure.

The model, who has battled addictions to drink and drugs, has promised her mum that she will curb the bad language.

Sophie says: “My favourite word is w***er and I was really worried I was going to be saying it all the time and my mother would have killed me. “

Sophie’s also determined not to drink alcohol in the camp even though she won’t be able to go to the AA meetings she regularly attends in the UK.

“Everyone seems to think I’m this flouncy, very ‘plagued with problems’ sort of girl, which I’m not at all. It’s the total opposite. I don’t have any problems in my life whatsoever any more.

“And, I’m very, very tough.”

She'll need to be tough to get by without drinking or swearing...
